Baseball Recap: Lowell Takes a Loss

If Lowell was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Dracut last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Red Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Tanners from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Lowell now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Lowell will welcome Lawrence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, they will take on Marblehead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
