Poca had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Wayne Pioneers 3-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Dots sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

While Poca won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-16.

Poca found their leader in sophomore Christiana Childers, who had seven digs and two assists.

Poca's win bumped their record up to 34-5-5. As for Wayne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-27-1 record this season.

Poca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wayne, they will host Roane County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
