Basketball Recap: Rocori Comes Up Short

Rocori was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Detroit Lakes Lakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-67 back in December of 2024.

Rocori's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Detroit Lakes, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

Coming up, Rocori will be playing at home against Alexandria at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Detroit Lakes, they will square off against Sartell-St. Stephen at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
