Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Notre Dame Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bowling Green Purples on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Pandas as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Grace Portwood paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Portwood got some help from Lizzy Larkins and her 17 assists. Finally, Audrey Dyas kept Notre Dame Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Notre Dame Academy's victory bumped their record up to 31-7. As for Bowling Green, they moved to 38-4 with that loss, which also ended their 16-match winning streak.

Notre Dame Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Oldham on the 8th. Bowling Green does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
