Softball Recap: Hampden Broncos vs. Mt. Blue Cougars
After only two runs in their last matchup, Hampden made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mt. Blue on Tuesday. The Broncos were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Cougars. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Lolah Cowing and Kiera Gabric did most of the damage at the plate: Cowing went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles, while Gabric went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Cowing a new career-high. Sam Libby also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Hampden's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Mt. Blue, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.
