Football Recap: Okeechobee Comes Up Short

The Okeechobee Brahmans were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 18-14 to the Legacy Lions. The Brahmans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Legacy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Dominguez led the charge by throwing for 182 yards and one touchdown on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 42 yards. The dominant performance also gave Dominguez a new career-high in passer rating (96.4). Enzo Hairabedian was in the mix too, providing Legacy with two TDs.

Okeechobee's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Legacy, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

As of now, neither Okeechobee nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
