Football Recap: Copiague Comes Up Short

Copiague lost against Bellport back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles were dealt a 38-7 loss at the hands of the Clippers. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Copiague and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Bellport, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Copiague is set to take on their familiar foe Smithtown East at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bellport will square off against rival Huntington at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
