Volleyball Recap: Barrington Falls Short Against Ranked Glenbard West

Barrington faced Glenbard West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Fillies/Broncos took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers. The Fillies/Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hilltoppers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Matt Kravstov paced Barrington's offense, picking up seven kills. Kravstov got some help from Carson Skinner and his 12 assists. Kravstov was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Barrington's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Glenbard West, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

Barrington has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Vernon Hills on the 9th. As for Glenbard West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Maine South on the 9th.
