Basketball Game Preview: Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots vs. Knoxville A Ambassadors

Having just played yesterday, the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots will jump right back in to play the Knoxville A Ambassadors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Surry HomeSchool has given up an average of 56.1 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Having struggled with 11 losses in a row, Surry HomeSchool turned things around against Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against the Golden Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Surry HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Heath Clark, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Butcher, who put up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Knoxville A was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 72-24 loss at the hands of KACHEA.

Knoxville A's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Surry HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 10-26.

Surry HomeSchool lost to Knoxville A on the road by a decisive 65-51 margin in their previous meeting back in March of 2021. Can Surry HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
