Community Christian had won 11 straight home games dating back to last season and Emilee Finberg did her part to make it 12 on Monday. The Cyclones were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Howard Eagles with plenty of help from Finberg, who had seven kills, two aces, and one block. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Community Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Howard between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-14.

Community Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Howard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Community Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Faith Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Howard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Edgecombe on the 7th.
