Soccer Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

If Georgetown was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Felicity-Franklin two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The G-Men took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethel-Tate Tigers on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Georgetown couldn't quite close it out.

Georgetown has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-2 record this season. As for Bethel-Tate, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6-3 record this season.

Georgetown will venture away from home to take on Clark Montessori at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethel-Tate, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against North Adams on the 1st.
