Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Takes a Loss

If St. Anthony was feeling good fresh off their 63-38 takedown of University Lake/Trinity Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Anthony Roman Legion took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cristo Rey Jesuit. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roman Legion this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-49 back in December of 2024.

St. Anthony has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-25 record.

St. Anthony has already played their next game (against Cristo Rey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cristo Rey Jesuit will face off against Chesterton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
