Lafayette hasn't had much luck against DeSoto Central recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lafayette Commodores will host the DeSoto Central Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lafayette now has a winning record of 2-1. As for DeSoto Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
