Baseball Recap: Hill-McCloy Comes Up Short

Hill-McCloy fell victim to New Lothrop and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 17-0 to the Hornets. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Hornets when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Hill-McCloy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for New Lothrop, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hornets beat Hill-McCloy by a score of 17-0 later that day.
