Recap: Ridgedale Rockets vs. Fredericktown Freddies
On Tuesday, Ridgedale suffered a tough 44-24 loss at the hands of Fredericktown.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fredericktown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cally Carpenter, who scored 17 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Carpenter has scored at least 25% of Fredericktown's points. Another player making a difference was Ella Bouton, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Ridgedale's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fredericktown, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgedale will square off against Ridgemont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgemont is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Fredericktown, they will head out on the road to face off against Danville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
