The East Moline United Panthers will face off against the Pontiac Indians at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. East Moline United is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

East Moline United saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of Normal University by a score of 6-5. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pontiac unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 4-0 to Kaneland. The match marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

East Moline United's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Pontiac, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.

East Moline United couldn't quite finish off Pontiac when the teams last played back in April of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
