Baseball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

Edgerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-3 to the Liberty Center Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Edgerton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cory Herman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton will square off against Montpelier at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Liberty Center, they will head out to square off against North Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
