Basketball Recap: State Line Christian Comes Up Short

State Line Christian saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 54-42 to the HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots. State Line Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noel Green continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for HomeSchool Resource Center, going 13 for 19 en route to 33 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Green is becoming a predictor of HomeSchool Resource Center's success: when he posts at least 25 points the team is 2-1 (and 8-17 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Deuce Johnson, who posted six points and ten rebounds.

State Line Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-18 record this season.

Looking ahead, State Line Christian will venture away from home to square off against Rochester Hills Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-28 defeat against Lakecrest Baptist on the 7th.
