Baseball Game Preview: Enterprise Wolves vs. Beaver Beavers

For the second straight game, Enterprise will face off against Beaver. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Enterprise is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

The home team had come away the winner the last three times Enterprise and Beaver had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wolves came out on top against the Beavers by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Wolves have beaten the Beavers on their field since March 16, 2023.

Parker Staheli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jackson Hiatt was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Clayton Bowler, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Enterprise's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Beaver, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-3.
