Baseball Recap: Prattville Christian Academy Victorious

Prattville Christian Academy won against Saint James last Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 6-3. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Ethan Walls spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Prattville Christian Academy's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Diefenderfer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Prattville Christian Academy's record now sits at 25-2. As for Saint James, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-8-1.

Prattville Christian Academy and Saint James should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings.
