Volleyball Recap: Vasquez Beats Lancaster Baptist for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

Vasquez took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Lancaster Baptist, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs skirted past the Eagles 3-2. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Eagles on their court since September 24, 2019.

Vasquez took Lancaster Baptist into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 25-20, 24-26, 17-15.

The win (which was Vasquez's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. As for Lancaster Baptist, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vasquez will head out to challenge Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lancaster Baptist, they will venture away from home to square off against Trinity Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
