Softball Recap: Century Jaguars vs. Newberg Tigers
There's no place like home for Century, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Newberg Tigers with a sharp 11-1 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jaguars needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Alyssa Loza was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Loza was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
