Recap: Jay Mustangs vs. Harlan Hawks
After a string of seven wins, The Jay Mustangs''s good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 42-33 to Harlan. Jay has struggled against Harlan recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Givori Graham was a one-man wrecking crew for Harlan as he rushed for 202 yards and four touchdowns. Payton Matthews also helped out with an impressive 128 receiving yards.
Jay's loss dropped their record down to 7-1. As for Harlan, their win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Taft the next time they take the field. Jay will host Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Harlan will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 2nd.
