Soccer Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Sheridan

While Sheridan's win against Lake County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. Sheridan's winning goal came courtesy of ?ngel Lopez.

The victory made it two in a row for Sheridan and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Lake County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sheridan will challenge rival Fort Lupton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake County is set to take on their familiar foe Middle Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
