Softball Game Preview: Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers vs. Archbishop Williams Bishops

The Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers will face off against the Archbishop Williams Bishops at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Whitman-Hanson Regional is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Sunday, Whitman-Hanson Regional didn't have quite enough to beat Hanover and fell 8-7.

Archbishop Williams came out on top against Arlington Catholic on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Bishops blew past the Cougars 13-5. The result was nothing new for the Bishops, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Archbishop Williams and bumps their season record up to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
