The Bolingbrook Raiders will square off against the Plainfield Central Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bolingbrook will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Bolingbrook not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th (when they won 15-0). They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Joliet Central. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Steelmen: they've now won five in a row.

Mackenzie McGrath was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Karina Choi, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mercy Hanny, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Bolingbrook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Plainfield Central came out on top against Andrew on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Thunderbolts 6-5.
Plainfield Central's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Melody Mojica, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run. Evalyn Prochaska was another, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
Plainfield Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10-1 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.25 runs across that stretch. As for Bolingbrook, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-16.
