Baseball Recap: Leigh Comes Up Short

Leigh was the 4-3 winner over Branham when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Longhorns fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 6-5 on Friday.

Michael Mogannam was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Branham, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

Leigh has already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Scotts Valley on the 17th. Branham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
