Softball Recap: Madras Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Madras's offense. They came up short against the Gladstone Gladiators on Wednesday, falling 16-0. The White Buffaloes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Madras' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Gladstone, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Madras is set to square off against their familiar foe The Dalles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gladstone will challenge rival Estacada at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Gladiators 3.4, the Rangers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
