Herington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 46-25 to the Lyndon Tigers. The Railroaders lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 84-35 score last time.

Despite the loss, Herington still got an impressive performance from Mason Mortensen, who posted 17 points. That was a full 68% of Herington's points, marking the 17th time in a row Mortensen has scored more than a third of the team's points.
