Softball Recap: West Union's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, West Union finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the DeSoto Central Jaguars. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

West Union moved to 13-9 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for DeSoto Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2.
