Softball Recap: Yazoo City Takes a Loss

If Yazoo City was riding high fresh off their 15-8 takedown of Callaway on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians lost 21-12 to the Riverside Bulldogs on Monday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 13-5.

Yazoo City's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

Coming up, Yazoo City will venture away from home to challenge Gentry at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will host Noxapater at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
