Volleyball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

The Torres Toros came up short against the Gardena Panthers on Monday, falling 3-0. The Toros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Torres was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gardena, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Torres will square off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Torres is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a three-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
