Soccer Game Preview: Rogue River vs. Brookings-Harbor

The Rogue River Chieftains will venture away from home to face off against the Brookings-Harbor Bruins at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Rogue River is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Sutherlin on Thursday. Neither the Chieftains nor the Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Brookings-Harbor kept a clean sheet against North Valley on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. Fans of Brookings-Harbor have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Rogue River's draw makes their record 5-2-1 this season. As for Brookings-Harbor, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Rogue River might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Brookings-Harbor when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Chieftains avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
