Clover waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Providence Athletic Club Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Blue Eagles: when they faced off against the Panthers on Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Clover's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Providence Athletic Club, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clover will host Blythewood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Eagles are facing the Bengals at the right time seeing as the Bengals are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Providence Athletic Club, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greenville H at 6:30 p.m. on September 8.
