Baseball Recap: Hemphill Takes a Loss

Hemphill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Groveton Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly five runs.

Hemphill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Groveton, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Hemphill and Groveton will both be playing Colmesneil the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
