Basketball Recap: Livingston Academy Takes a Loss

Livingston Academy lost against Stone Memorial back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Livingston Academy Wildcats fell 68-55 to the Stone Memorial Panthers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Stone Memorial to victory were Cade Capps and Jack Cordell. Capps went 14-for-24 on his way to 34 points, while Cordell went 8-for-12 en route to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The match was Capps' 29th in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Briggs Lowe, who posted eight points.

Livingston Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Stone Memorial, their record is now 18-8.

Livingston Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-47 victory against DeKalb County on the 11th. As for Stone Memorial, they have also already played their next contest, an 80-49 win against Clarkrange on the 10th.
