Football Recap: Phoenix Isaiah Key Part of Team Effort in Hawks Win

The Lift for Life Academy Hawks earned a 28-21 victory over Father Tolton on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Lift for Life Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Phoenix Isaiah, who threw for 371 yards and four TDs. Those 371 passing yards gave Isaiah a new career-high. Lift for Life Academy's leading receiver Ekeilan Henderson was Isaiah's top target yet again, picking up 196 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Lift for Life Academy's record is now 5-2. As for Father Tolton, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Lift for Life Academy will head out to challenge Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Father Tolton, they will be playing at home against KIPP Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Father Tolton will be up against KIPP Legacy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
