The McClain Tigers will take on the North Adams Green Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. McClain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

McClain fell victim to Western Brown and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Broncos. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, North Adams hadn't done well against Peebles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Green Devils skirted past the Indians 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Green Devils in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Carlee Garrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Chloe Armstrong was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

North Adams' victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for McClain, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

North Adams' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McClain has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. It's a different story for North Adams, though, as they've only averaged .360. Will they be able to contain McClain's hitters?

McClain was able to grind out a solid win over North Adams in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 7-4. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
