Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bloom

Bloom won the last time they faced Crete-Monee and things went their way on Friday too. The Blazing Trojan never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Zenaida Esquivel was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

The victory (which was Bloom's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Crete-Monee, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-8.

Bloom has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Mather on the 12th. As for Crete-Monee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Westinghouse on the 12th.
