Soccer Recap: Maple Mountain Victorious

Maple Mountain's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Mountain Ridge Sentinels 2-1. Piper Hoyt had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Maple Mountain.

The win got Maple Mountain back to even at 1-1. As for Mountain Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Mountain will take on American Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Ridge, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against East at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
