Basketball Recap: Wayne City Comes Up Short

Wayne City lost against Gallatin County back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wayne City Indians took a 59-40 bruising from the Gallatin County Hawks. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne City's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Gallatin County, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne City will challenge Christopher at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallatin County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hardin County at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th.
