Latin is 9-1 against Francis W. Parker since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Romans will face off against the Colonels at 4:30 p.m. Latin's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Francis W. Parker's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Latin took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Northridge, sneaking past 2-1.

The team relied heavily on Jackson Darke, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Francis W. Parker). They blew past Steinmetz College Prep 26-1 last Thursday.

Latin pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Francis W. Parker, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
