Soccer Recap: Starr's Mill Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Starr's Mill can now relate to. They lost 4-1 to the Marist War Eagles on Monday. Starr's Mill were not able to make up for their loss to Marist from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Starr's Mill's goal came courtesy of Kendra Ivaska, who's now up to 32 this season.

Starr's Mill moved to 14-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Marist, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Starr's Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marist, they will take on Cambridge on Thursday. Marist will need to watch out since Cambridge have now posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.
