Football Recap: Lindenwold Takes a Loss

Lindenwold lost against KIPP Cooper Norcross back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions had to suffer through a 74-22 loss at the hands of the Titans. On the bright side, the 22- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring game to date.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead KIPP Cooper Norcross to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jykhai Boyd, who rushed for 80 yards and one TD, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Boyd really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Michael Morton Jr was another key player, rushing for 49 yards and one touchdown.

Lindenwold's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for KIPP Cooper Norcross, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lindenwold will take on Pitman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for KIPP Cooper Norcross, they will challenge Ewing on Friday.
