Basketball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. Orangefield Bobcats
Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 66-47 bruising from the Orangefield Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1476th, while the Bobcats are ranked 429th).
Despite the defeat, Warren saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Flebbe posted 17 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 36.2% of Warren's points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Parker Brocato, who put up eight points along with six boards and three steals.
