Soccer Game Preview: Dr. Krop vs. Norland

The Dr. Krop Lightning will square off against the Norland Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dr. Krop has four straight wins, Norland has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Dr. Krop's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Hialeah Gardens 3-0. The Lightning might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Hialeah Gardens with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicolas Wieciorovski, Omer Gan-El, and William Obando Obando.

Meanwhile, Norland managed to keep up with Booker T. Washington until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Norland came up short against Booker T. Washington, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 547th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 228th).

Dr. Krop's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four contests. As for Norland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
