Recap: King's Christian vs. Camden Academy Charter

It was a good run, but King's Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak dating back to last season on Thursday. They fell just short of Camden Academy Charter by a score of 59-56. King's Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Camden Academy Charter apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

King's Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jason Brice, who scored 16 points. The contest was Brice's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tyshaun Bruce, who scored 13 points.

King's Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-1. As for Camden Academy Charter, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season.

King's Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pilgrim Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Pilgrim Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday. Camden Academy Charter will be home for the holidays to greet Clayton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
