Soccer Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short

Hanover lost against Fairfield back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Nighthawks came up short against the Knights, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Hanover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 386th, while Fairfield are ranked 136th).

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Fairfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hanover will face off against rival Delone Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairfield is set to square off against their familiar foe York Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
