Softball Recap: Delaware Military Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with St. Mark's

Delaware Military Academy faced St. Mark in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Seahawks fell 4-1 to the Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahawks of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Delaware Military Academy's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-4. As for St. Mark's, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Delaware Military Academy will head out to take on St. Georges Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mark's, they will welcome Ursuline Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
