Basketball Recap: Chippewa Falls Takes a Loss

Chippewa Falls lost against Eau Claire Memorial back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chippewa Falls Cardinals were dealt a 61-34 defeat at the hands of the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes. The loss leaves the Cardinals without a win on the season.

Chippewa Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Eau Claire Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Chippewa Falls Cardinals face off against the River Falls Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they will square off against New Richmond at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in New Richmond's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
